The uterine septum, is the most common congenital uterine anomaly. It can cause pregnancy loss, miscarriage and premature birth. Diagnosis is made by uterine film and ultrasonography, and sometimes laparoscopy is needed to differentiate it from other uterine anomalies. It is treated with hysteroscopy.
